{"id":41,"date":"2007-12-27T18:55:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-27T18:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nunmc.org.uk\/w2012\/?p=41"},"modified":"2012-10-13T13:26:44","modified_gmt":"2012-10-13T13:26:44","slug":"charity-quiz-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nunmc.org.uk\/w2012\/?p=41","title":{"rendered":"charity quiz night"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On the 4th October 2007 Nuneaton Mountaineering Club (N.M.C) held a charity quiz night raising \u00a3100 to be split between the Mary Ann Evans Hospice and Edale Mountain Rescue Team.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde;\"><strong>Mary Ann Evans Hospice<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We have tried to support out local hospice with an event about once per year. It is dependant on fundraising for most of its income.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The cheque was handed over the Hospice by Debra Commins and Michele Kondakor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde;\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"hospice\" src=\"http:\/\/nunmc.org.uk\/w2012\/wp-content\/themes\/twentyten\/images\/nunmc_pics\/maryann_evans_q.jpg\" alt=\"hospice\" align=\"middle\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde; font-size: large;\">Edale Mountain Rescue <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial black,avant garde;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We have also made donations to various Mountain Rescue Teams. We coordinated our December walk to visit the Edale Mountain Rescue Team at their base after the walk.
